Default Make the arenas international

At least for the beginning...

I don't know if it's the same for American or Asian servers, but in europe every arenas is desert except Fort Koga and the Tombs. Since the release, i just played once in Amnoon Arena (and i had to ask all the people of my guild) and never tested the Yak's Bend arena (too bad, i'm lvl 20 now) or Deldrimor.

Perhaps, there will be more players as the game has just been release but for now having only the choice of Fort Koga or the Tombs of primeval Kings is kind of frustrating (I want to test the arenas with the priests !!).

Is it the same for the american or asian servers ?

well in european servers it's like desert (not the in-game desert, the empty ones i mean). And the international districtts doesn't help at all.

That sucks! Are there not alot of players in general in europe servers? Or just people not big on arena pvp?

I know I can go at almost anytime of day and there will always be enough groups for the arena.

Areas like Ascalon or Yak's bend are pretty well populated, but the not other ones (even Lion's Arch is not so full of people).

For the Arenas... i can't compare with the American servers as i have almost used all my account-territory-changing (not sure of this last word). But for instance, during the last beta, Areas like Temple of the Ages were hell o lot more populated in the american servers.

I guess everyone stick to the Fort Koga Arena because it's where you character is kicked in, and the tombs because you can gain fame and sigil here.

but that really sucks... if all the members of my guild could speak english, i think i'll ask them to change the territory of their account... Or perhaps i'll buy another game with an american account... i need space for storage anyway...

Iv noticed in European servers that at certain times, usually after 10pm you will not get a fight in some arena's until the next day. If you can only play Guild Wars late at night in European servers then they need to let people fight in other region Arena's because many nights iv stopped playing because I couldnt find a fight.

Honestly this is the case, with each new caracter you make you cant travel between all pvp Arena's untill you fnd them again, which sucks because Lions Arch Arena, alessio seaboard or whatever, is totally deserted after about 9-10 pm and before then a fight is a rare thing, so youv either got Shiverpeaks or Fort Koga, did i miss one out? And late at night there is a good chance you wont find a fight at all of these. Not to mention low level chars at Fort Koga tend to get owned a fair bit.

I live in Australia and frequently the American Server Arena's are deserted during my prime time. (We play on US Servers). Fort Ranik is always full though.

People are just starting to trickle into the Lion's Arch arena. Today I actually got to fight without waiting for 5 minutes for enough people.

I would just like all arenas to be international because some of the good memebrs of the guild i am inare from Europe and we can only play with them in the internationals which are empty. If every arena was international it would be a lot easier to get games. Right now we just send someone into the normal districts to challenge another guild in the international district. It doesn't allways work though..... ><

Iv just spent 7 hours in Shiverpeaks arena with a new char, so its the only pvp I can do with this particular character, and iv had 5 fights.

5 fights in 7 hours isnt too great for me, some shifts I do at work means there isnt going to be a lot for me to do except PvE or use a ready made character. So there goes my idea of building and refining a PvP character through the PvE system, unless Arena's can be made international.

Totally agree! I moved my account to the Us servers due to lack of people speaking english and lack of players during primetime.

The international areas are useless, hardly anyone is ever in them. And why are we only allowed to move our account 5 times? Its not really fair now is it. Get rid of the move limit or make more areas international is the solution.

Oh man, all this worries me. I still have to reach the PvP part of the game, i'm just developing my first character, but knowing that there are queues to fight in the arenas suck. And we can't change zone more than 5 times. Sucks as well.

Yes, we need international arenas.

just saying that i changed my territory to american... i don't have much trouble with pve with my european guild as i use the international districts for the missions. I'll probably buy another game so that i won't be "stuck" in one territory. btw, i finally tested the deldrimor arena: it's way cool !

Don't forget too, that since the game is fairly new, people have to manage to make it through to other parts of the world. Look at the amount of districts in Old Ascalon(40 odd all the time), then compare to Lion's Arch(maybe 10-15, i could be wrong), and Even Dranknor's Forge (3 dists). The main mass of people, ie, the casual gamer that GW entices, have to filter out into the game world. Slowly but surely this is happening.

Case in point; when I first found Grendich Courthouse, there was a single district. I went back there last night, and there were 7 packed full of people.

yes, making arenas international is a great idea. Cause right now Only yaks bend is populated enough for my level 15. So i dont know how it is in Ascalon. The day i got to Lions Arch, there arena was pretty full. but couldnt fight anyother days there
